Personal Biography

Hey, Anteaters! My name is Lauren Bermudez, and I’m an Academic Advisor at the Undergraduate/Undeclared Office.

While I originally hail from Orange County, I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Linguistics. I’m also a proud UC Education Abroad Program returnee (Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea).

I strongly encourage students to take advantage of all the amazing opportunities UCI has to offer! UC students have so many great programs at their fingertips, so go out and explore the world! I promise you won’t regret it.

Outside of work (or even at work, if you’ve seen my office!), my interests include watching basketball/hockey/Formula 1, Dungeons and Dragons, astrology/tarot/crystals, dolls, cats, K-pop, anime, reading, travel, and any pseudo-science personality test I can get my hands on.

I’m a queer-identifying cis woman, ENFP-T, 7w6, lawful neutral, and Sagittarius sun/Cancer moon/Leo rising. ☆
