Personal Biography

Why do you love UCI?
UCI to me has always been a serene and familiar experience. Though some may complain that it’s too quiet at UCI, I’ve always loved the feeling of walking through Aldrich Park on a sunny day with the birds chirping. However, these things would be meaningless without a wonderful faculty, dedicated to students and the academic experience. To me, UCI is not just a school for a certain group or type of people. UCI caters to all of its student population with a diverse background that goes beyond college pamphlets and statistics. The UCI student experience cannot be simplified like in other institutions, UCI means different things for each one of its students and that’s what I love most about UCI.

How can you be a successful Anteater?
Although attending UCI doesn’t guarantee success, it greatly increases and fosters an environment for it. The first step and largest part of being a successful Anteater is becoming attuned and aware of your own personal situations and desires. Although teachers are there to teach you and advisors are there to advise you, the most important step for success is knowing exactly what it is that you want. Part of the obstacle in our paths to success is coming to terms with our own desires and measures of success.

What is one fun fact about yourself?
I have already experienced my fairy tale ending as I am happily married at the age of 20.
